Jerzy Skakun is a graduate of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. For 9 years now he has been running his graphic design studio – Homework – with Joanna Górska. Together, they design posters, printing graphics, and visual identity systems for cultural events. Their artwork has been exhibited in Paris, Berlin, London, New York, and Hong Kong, to name a few. This talented couple of artists has won many awards in a range of contests. Some of their major achievements include a gold medal at the Mexico Poster Biennale, a silver medal at the Chicago International Poster Biennale, and the Józef Mroszczak Honorary Award at the 21st Poster Biennale in Warsaw.
