Ukraine
Anna Ivanenko is an artist born and residing in Kyiv, although the war forced her to leave her home for a while. She works as an illustrator, sometimes a designer. Together with Jenya Polosina, she runs a visual studio called Seri/graph. Usually, they make editorial and community projects, as well as screen prints. She’s also involved in illustrating books and making posters.

Studying process in a shelter
My illustration shows children in a bomb shelter, listening to a class on a laptop. Unfortunately, school now looks like this for many kids. The education process in Ukraine continues despite the war. Both private and public institutions are now accumulating all the resources they can get and working to ensure that people continue to acquire knowledge.
