Tania Yakunova is an award-winning illustrator and artist from Kyiv, Ukraine. Her creative output ranges from book, commercial, and editorial illustrations to internationally exhibited personal works of art. She has been working on projects from around the world from Japan to Ecuador, for clients such as Google, Facebook, Coca-cola, and many more.

Tania draws a lot of inspiration from the avant-garde art and design of the 20th century. Before the war, her main interest was exploring ordinary objects, forms, and stories to find rhythm and beauty in them. Her creations are a mix of illustration, fine art, and crafts. She’s lately included ceramic sculpture as a new medium in her arsenal. When the war began, Tania, like many Ukrainians, was forced to leave her home and evacuate.
