Anita Wasik, born in 1982, is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, and currently works as an assistant professor at her alma mater. She’s the head of the Design for Culture Studio and the Propedeutics of Book Design Studio. A graphic designer with multiple awards, specialising in designing for cultural institutions. She creates visual identities, exhibits her art, and designs books and catalogues. She is attracted to paper, space, narrative and interaction – graphics that work on different senses. She is the co-author of Bom dia São Tomé and Bom dia Bissau, books covering the topic of hand-painted signboards in West African countries, written with Piotr Stańczyk.
