My poster is a synthesis of two symbols — the so-called ‘tryzub’, the emblem of Ukraine, and the dove with an olive branch, a well-known symbol of peace created by Pablo Picasso after World War II, which also has biblical connotations. I cut the shape out of paper and digitally processed it afterwards. This idea was meant to loosely refer to the traditional folk cut-outs, very popular in the art of Eastern Slavic folklore.
