My piece is a metaphor of everyday life halted by war, symbolised by the monuments on the streets of Lviv or Kyiv, protected by sandbags. However, I decided to draw a monument erected not for some important historic figure, but for an ordinary person, for an ordinary family. Ordinary people always suffer the most from war.
