Sashko Danylenko is a Ukrainian filmmaker, visual storyteller, illustrator, and multimedia artist. He has directed many animated music videos, including those for DakhaBrakha, TNMK, Kwoon, Kalush, Alyona Alyona and others. Sashko combines folk and contemporary styles, nature, and digital in his works. Based in the USA, Sashko works on animadoc projects for TED, The School of Life, TOPIC, Ukrainian Institute of America, etc. Many films by Sashko have gone viral on the web; a lot of them were part of international film festivals. Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, he has been working on illustration and media projects to promote Ukrainian culture and stories about bravery and humanity of Ukrainian people. His works are part of international exhibitions and events, they help in raising funds for humanitarian aid for Ukraine.
Nastya Tykha, risking her own life, saved a whole group of dogs with disabilities during the sheling of Irpin by Russian invaders. The girl has a heart much larger than the whole Russia.
